The Discovering Buddhism course is a comprehensive study program designed for those seeking to deepen their understanding of Tibetan Buddhism; offering in-depth teachings on various aspects of Buddhist philosophy and practice. The course is suitable for both beginners and intermediate students, providing a structured approach to Buddhist study.

INtermediate

The Intermediate Buddhism course is designed for those with a foundational understanding of Buddhist principles, aiming to deepen their practice and philosophical knowledge. Led by resident teacher Geshe Rinchen Wangyal, each session is thoughtfully structured to build a comprehensive understanding of Buddhist philosophy and meditative practices.

BASIC PROGRAM

Led by Venerable Losang Gendun, a Dutch monk with extensive training under esteemed teachers such as Lama Zopa Rinpoche and His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the program offers a structured exploration of key Buddhist texts and practices. Venerable Gendun's approachable teaching style makes complex concepts accessible, bridging traditional teachings with contemporary understanding. The course includes retreats and meditation training, providing a holistic approach to Buddhist study and practice.

IDMT

The In-Depth Meditation Training (IDMT) program at Jamyang Buddhist Centre Leeds offers a structured, long-term approach to Mahayana insight meditation. Led by Venerable Losang Gendun, a seasoned teacher with extensive training in both Theravada and Mahayana traditions. This course is suitable for individuals with an intermediate to advanced understanding of Buddhist meditation.
