1. Membership Overview

Become a member for £35 a month and enjoy free access to all our Buddhist classes!
In September 2022, we introduced a simplified membership model. This generous package includes : classes, meditations, pujas, courses and weekend workshops. 

Retreats and Visiting Teachers necessitate separate donations.

Please note: As our IDMT course is a collaboration with other FPMT centres it is not possible to offer this as part of our Jamyang Leeds membership programme as the donation has been agreed by all 12 centres at £45.

3. What Your Support Enables

Membership helps fund essential programs and outreach, including:

  • Chaplaincy: End-of-life care support across 6+ hospitals with a team of 4 trained Buddhist chaplains.

  • Education: Annual training and workshops in Buddhist principles and meditation for over 25 educational institutions.

  • Volunteer Programme: Training for 25–30 weekly volunteers who gain valuable skills and lead sessions.

  • National Mentorship: Supporting smaller Buddhist groups across the UK including Liverpool and Scotland..

  • Guest Speakers: Hosting renowned teachers and leaders from around the world, including Tibetan Lamas, authors, mindfulness experts, and more..

2. Why Become a Member?

Your membership helps expand our reach and impact. Thanks to our members, we now run over 30 events weekly and connect with more than 800 people every month, world-wide. By contributing £35 or more monthly, you’re directly supporting our centre and making a difference.

4. Our Funding Goals

Currently, our members contribute about 1/10 of our monthly £9,500 costs. Our 2026 goal is to cover 25% of monthly expenses through memberships. To reach this, we need at least 100 new members. You can help us meet this goal by joining today!

If you are a UK tax payer, please tick “yes” for gift aid. This allows us to claim an extra 25% from the government on top of each donation.
