Our Wellbeing programme offers a varied and practical way to engage in mindfulness and meditation, without any religious language. Some of our wellbeing events and retreats are informed by Buddhist Principles (such as Mindfulness, Compassionate Living Retreats or the 16 Guidelines) whilst others are from other backgrounds and traditions (such as Yoga, Sound Baths and Relaxation).
Tools for training the mind and living a happier life are key values of what it means to be in control of our own happiness. We aim to to provide you with tools to turn around unskilful and often destructive ways of thinking into more productive and skilful patterns of thinking. Some classes such as meditation at lunchtime offer you a way to get back into balance with yourself and your surroundings, others courses such as the 16 Guidelines look at some practical tools to help in daily life for children and adults, whilst others offer you a chance to use your body and mind together for balance such as Yoga and Qi Gong workshops.
