Yeshe Buddhist Group – Cumbria

Established in 2001, Yeshe Buddhist Group is a thriving satellite group of Jamyang Buddhist Centre Leeds.

Located on the Cartmel Peninsula between Kendal and Barrow In Furness of the South Lake District and Furness Peninsula, close to Cartmel’s ancient priory.

It is a wonderful place for peace and reflection and for exploring the outer and the inner world.

We extend a warm welcome and support to all those who are interested in learning about Buddhism and making it relevant to everyday life.

Providing integrated education for the benefit of others, inspired by an attitude of universal responsibility, committed to creating harmonious environments, we help all beings develop their full potential of infinite wisdom and compassion.

Our courses, talks and social events, for both the committed practitioner and for those who simply want to probe the ‘big questions’ or find out a little about the Buddhist approach, can be found on our social media pages.
