Borobudur Temple or Stupa, in Java, Indonesia is said to be the largest Buddhist temple in the world. Built in the form of a giant mandala, representing the mystic cosmology of the universe, as well as the structure of the enlightened mind. The temple complex contains over 500 individual Buddha statues and dates from the 9th century AD.

Adam Aslam, a Muslim Imam and youth chaplain with a strong interest in Buddhism, travels regularly to Indonesia and has visited the Borobudur Stupa several times. He will give an illustrated talk about his experiences at this extraordinary and world famous Buddhist site.
