Introduction to the Form (or sequence of movements) for health and vitality.
The old lineage Form of Daoist Tai Chi was brought to the west by Daoist Monk, Moy Lin-Shin, in the late 1960’s. The lineage is said to have incorporated elements from Daoist, Buddhist, and Confucian qigong sources. The Form is intended to cultivate body, energy, and mind, for wholeness reflected in “the tai chi smile”, which emanates from the depths of your being. It’s a workout, a harmonising, and a meditation.
The instructor has been practicing tai chi 25 years, and introducing Daoist Tai Chi 10 years. He has been a student of Buddhism 25 years.
