Buddhism has many methods for improving our experience of life through developing the mind and our innate good qualities. On this weekend course you will learn about basic Buddhist principles, philosophy and meditation from a modern perspective, so you can apply this ancient wisdom to your daily life. Topics covered include the four noble truths, mind and emotions, karma, love and compassion and the nature of reality from a Tibetan Buddhist perspective.

This course will provide a basic understanding of Buddhism in general, making further study more accessible. This course is suitable for people who are new to Buddhism, or looking for a refresher course, or if you are just interested in finding out more about the Buddhist path to peace and happiness.

Suggested donation £25 each day / £50 for the weekend

Classes are offered freely at Jamyang Buddhist Centre Leeds so as many people as possible can benefit. We do not get grants and all donations go towards running the Centre.
