Classes are offered for free at Jamyang Buddhist Centre Leeds so as many people as possible can benefit. We do not get grants and all donations go towards running the Centre. You can donate at the start of a class or online by clicking the link on the right.
About the teacher:
Kerry Prest first started working for Lama Zopa Rinpoche and FPMT at Jamyang Buddhist Centre London in 2004, where he studied with Geshe Tashi Tsering and completing the Foundation of Buddhist Thought course. He then moved to Nalanda Monastery, France, and studied the Basic Programme under Geshe Lobsang Jamphel. Kerry was also a student on the first Masters Programme at Nalanda Monestary and the Programme Coordinator. He then became the Spiritual Programme coordinator at Land of Joy retreat centre in the UK before finally moving to Jamyang Buddhist Centre Leeds to take the role of Director in September 2015. He also works part-time as a professional singer and conductor in the UK.
