Sundays 21 January and Sunday 18 March – further dates to be announced soon.
Family life is a place of happiness, love and joy, but it can also be stressful, tiring and overwhelming. We see the best and the worst of ourselves in being part of a family.
The aim of the Mandala Warriors family morning is to share our collective wisdom about family life and to have fun while recognising, reflecting on and practising the seven ‘Mandala Warrior skills’ of kindness, rejoicing, patience, apologising, forgiving, contentment and courage.
A different skill will be explored in each session. By looking at and valuing these skills, and using them to counter their opposites, family members can work towards a happier family life. Well, that is the idea anyway!
Each session contains elements of creativity, self-reflection, meditation and discussion. We will adapt activities depending on the ages of the children there. Anyone can drop in and you don’t have to be a ‘Buddhist’ to come along with your children and enjoy the morning.
