On this course Ven.Tharchin will look at what refuge means in a Buddhist context, the benefits of setting a positive motivation for our practice and why contemplating how precious this human life is can inspire us to transform it into the cause for happiness. Suitable for beginners and anyone who would like to refresh their practice. You don’t need to be a Buddhist to attend.

About Ven. Tharchin

enerable Tharchin was ordained in 1999 and joined Nalanda Monastery the same year. Three years into his ordination he went to Dharamsala to the LZRTP translator program set up by Lama Zopa Rinpoche and graduated from the program after 2 years. He has served as a translator at Nalanda ever since. Ven. Tharchin also studied and completed the Basic Program between 2008-2012, including a three-month Lamrim retreat. Since 2013 he has been translating the Master Program at Nalanda.
