Friday 6 July, 18.30-20.00
Join us as we celebrate HH Dalai Lama’s 83rd birthday with shared food, a short film and a Chenrezig puja (chanted prayers to the Buddha of Compassion).
His Holiness is the Spiritual leader of all four schools of Tibetan Buddhism. He is loved throughout the world for the work he does to bring peace, harmony and joy to all and demonstrates through his tireless work why many consider him to be an emanation of the Buddha of Compassion.
This celebratory event is open to all who would like to wish His Holiness a happy birthday, whether you are Buddhist or non-Buddhist.
Pujas are chanted prayers – feel free to join in or just enjoy the opportunity to relax and listen.
Please bring food to share and offerings for the shrine are also welcome (for example cake, sweets or flowers).
