Apologies, this evening’s class is cancelled due to the teacher not being well.
Wednesdays: 6pm for 6.10pm start to 7.30pm – October 10, 17
with Joseph Brown
Join us for a relaxing gong bath followed by a relaxing stretch and wind down cup of tea to dissolve the stresses of daily life.
The melodic, vibrational sound of the gong works on the parasympathetic nervous system as you immerse yourself in the gentle sound and deeply relax into the space. The healing vibrations also stimulate the glandular system to a higher level of functioning, flushing out any blockages or toxins and clearing the chakras (energy centres) of the body allowing a freer flow of prana (energy/chi) throughout the body.
Joe is a registered Kundalini yoga teacher and his gong is tuned to the Moon Sidereal (new to full moon). Its harmonic frequency cocoons and supports you in a blanket of sound allowing deep relaxation and inner harmony.
Please note this class is not part of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, but a broader Indic tradition of using sound for wellbeing and relaxation. Please let the teacher know if you have any medical conditions prior to starting the session and wear comfortable clothes – cotton mats and chairs are provided.
Please note after the 5th month of pregnancy you should avoid all Gong Meditations.

About the teacher:
Joe first started doing Kundalini yoga as he was drawn to the philosophy of the practice and practically to heal his body after a sports accident. Joe personally found practising Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, to be a very transformative process and the teachings helped him understand life more holistically. Joe said: “There are many great tools to learn from this ancient technology – each lesson one learns can help to accelerate or calm life, expand an area of one’s personality or strengthen aspects of the body/brain / nervous system. It helps you to act with more connection, awareness and direction.”
Joe teaches a regular Kundalini Yoga classes in the Leeds area. He can be contacted at email@example.com / 07854950952
